The Mandalika Lombok Circuit, also known as Pertamina Mandalika International Street Circuit, is officially the venue for the 2022 MotoGP. The Indonesian MotoGP at the Mandalika Circuit will be held on March 20, 2022. According to the official MotoGP website, the MotoGP 2022 racing calendar includes 21 races. The first race will be held at the Qatar Circuit on March 6, and Indonesia will host the second series. In addition to Indonesia, Finland is also the new host for the 2022 MotoGP at the KymiRing Circuit.
Before the race on March 20, MotoGP riders will first try out the Mandalika street circuit in the pre-season practice session. Indonesia is one of the two MotoGP pre-season training locations, where the event will be held in February.
After a race at the Mandalika Circuit, MotoGP will cross over to the Americas. Precisely at the Rio Hondo Circuit at the Argentine MotoGP event, April 3. The next MotoGP will be held in the United States, Portugal, Jerez, France, Italy, Catalunya, Germany, and the Netherlands.
