Marvel’s Shang-Chi has revealed the lead single for the movie’s soundtrack, entitled “Lazy Susan”. There are two rappers from Indonesia under 88rising, Rich Brian and Warren Hue, involved in the theme song.
According to Comicbook on Monday (9/10), the song was made under 88Rising by involving four rappers. Besides Brian and Hue, Lazy Susan involved 21 Savage and Masiwei.
88rising itself also announced Lazy Susan as the soundtrack of Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings implicitly through their official Instagram account. 88rising uploaded a photo of a gold plate with gold-plated food.
"Lazy Susan" is a perfect track that reflects the modern, pop-culture, East-meets-West vibe that Marvel Studios aims for with Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, the first major studio-led franchise in Asia.
Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings is an upcoming American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics. Produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. It is intended to be the 25th film in the MCU, which is currently set for release in theaters on September 3rd.
