Indonesia Entered the COVID-19 Zero Red Zone.

The Covid-19 Handling Task Force stated that Indonesia was free from the red zone or areas with a high level of transmission of the Covid-19 virus. On September 19, 2021, all regions of Indonesia have entered the orange, yellow, and green zones, according to detik.com.

Regional risk zoning maps are calculated based on public health indicators using scoring and weighting. The indicators used are indicators of epidemiology, public health surveillance, and health services. Nowadays, it is known that there are 31 areas with orange zones, 481 areas with yellow zones, and 2 green zones, Arfak Mountains Regency in West Papua and Intan Jaya Regency in Papua, according to cnnindonesia.com.

As is known, the development of COVID-19 in Indonesia has shown improvement. The addition of new cases of COVID-19 is already below 5,000 cases per day. Then as of September 21, 2021, the total number of active Corona cases in Indonesia is only 52,447 patients. On the island of Java-Bali itself, no areas fall into the PPKM level 4 category.
