A deleted scene from “The Batman” showing the vigilante facing off against his nemesis, the Joker, has been released.
The scene was released on Thursday, and is available by visiting a website that mimics the word puzzles posed by the main villain, the Riddler, in the movie.
The scene depicts The Batman (Robert Pattinson) involved in a tense conversation with The Joker (Barry Keoghan) to get some insights on the motivation behind twisted crimes committed by the Riddler (Paul Dano).
In the theatrical released version, the Joker appeared only at the end of the movie sitting in an Arkham State Hospital cell next to the Riddler. Director Matt Reeves in his interview with Variety said that the Joker was intended to appear earlier in the movie, and that it is heartbreaking that he had to delete the scene from the theatrical release.
