The World Health Organization (WHO) reports that Indonesia has entered level 1 in COVID-19 cases.
November 5, 2021

The World Health Organization (WHO) declared that Indonesia has zero provinces with a moderate and high risk of COVID-19. There are no provinces in Indonesia that are at high risk of COVID-19 cases. Based on the guidelines updated by the WHO as of November 3, the number of corona cases in all regions of Indonesia has decreased since August 2021. The positive number of COVID-19 has been below 2 percent for the past week consistently. This figure is obtained from the number of test calculations according to WHO standards.

Besides the WHO, the United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) released guidelines for visits to various countries in the world based on the level of transmission of Covid-19. In the travel recommendations issued by the CDC, they also designated Indonesia as a country with a low Covid-19 transmission rate or Level 1, quoting from Kompas.

Responding to this, the spokesman for the Covid-19 Task Force, Wiku Adisasmito, stated that the development of Covid-19 in Indonesia could be said to be very good. This is shown by a decrease in cases that occurred for approximately three months. The transmission was also low, with an average daily addition of more than 700 people and active cases of only 0.29 percent.
