The photo of the Rector of the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB), Prof. Reini Wirahadikusumah, is currently viral on social media because it is used as a digital asset in the form of an NFT (non-fungible token). The photo of Prof. Reini Wirahadikusumah, are sold on the marketplace platform, OpenSea. In total, there are two photos of Prof. Reini, from two angles, from close up and half body wearing a blue ITB alma mater jacket.

It is suspected that ITB students took this step as a form of protest. It is known that an OpenSea account user with the username ITB1920 did the minting, which is the term for tokenizing the photo to the blockchain, last May. The user named the two pictures of Prof. Reini with the hashtag #ReiniOut. While the two pictures are named "Beloved Rector #1" and "Beloved Rector #2".

The descriptions in the two NFT assets are critical to Prof Reini. It was written that Prof Reini was ignorant of her students. The identity of the ITB1920 username is not yet known clearly. Until now, the two NFTs have not gotten any offer.
