Eleven police officers in North Sumatra were arrested for selling drugs to drug dealer.

The boat was carrying tens of kilograms of methamphetamine. However, the two couriers carrying the illegal goods managed to escape. Then the police who secured the drug evidence agreed to sell the methamphetamine. The Head of the Narcotics Unit of the Tanjungbalai Police also approved the sale of methamphetamine. Of the total 76 kg of methamphetamine found, only 57 kilograms were reported. And another 19 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine were sold to shabu dealers.
For their actions, the suspects are charged with Article 114 paragraph (2) subsidiary Article 112 paragraph (2) in conjunction with Article 132 paragraph (1) of the RI Law No. 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics, according to Kompas.tv.com.
