Gertrude Ngoma sued her partner Herbert Salaliki after being together for eight years and even having a child together. Still, unfortunately, their relationship became worse after Herbert failed to fulfill his promise to propose.
Gertrude decided to take Herbert to court for wasting time after he failed to make her happy. Tuko reported that Gertrude felt that Herbert was not serious enough about their relationship, although she had paid her family a dowry to her family but however, he had not bought an engagement ring yet.
Herbert defended the court and said he had not proposed because he did not have the financial security to pay for the wedding and argued that Gertrude was not a loving partner and did not give him enough attention. The judge told the couple that reconciliation would be the best outcome for the couple.
